INTERIOR DOORS

Interior Door Sales & Installation in Utah

Clearview provides interior door sales, replacement, and professional installation for homeowners, builders, and remodelers throughout Salt Lake County, Utah County, and the Wasatch Front.

A better door changes how the room works

Interior doors influence both the look and privacy of a room. Older doors may start to rub against the floor or sit unevenly in the frame, while dated hollow-core styles may feel out of place after a remodel. We help you choose a replacement that fits the opening and works with the rest of the space.

The doors no longer fit the home

Older panel styles or damaged finishes may stand out after a remodel. Replacing the doors gives the rooms a more consistent look without changing the entire layout.

Privacy feels limited

Bedrooms and offices often benefit from a heavier door. Solid-core construction gives the opening a more substantial feel and helps reduce sound transfer between rooms.

The door never closes quite right

If a door keeps rubbing or drifting open, the problem may come from the frame rather than the door itself. We measure the opening and inspect the jamb first so we can recommend the right approach for the doorway.

Professional measurement

We confirm the opening and jamb conditions before ordering so the product matches the project.

Product consultation

We help you compare construction and design options without pushing every project toward the highest price level.

Ordering and procurement

We manage the order and make sure the product matches the measurements and specifications confirmed during the site visit.

Pickup and delivery

Our team coordinates materials and delivers them to the home or jobsite, so the customer doesn’t have to arrange a separate pickup.

Installation and fitting

We install prehung units or fit replacement slabs when the existing jamb supports that approach. We also prepare the door for hinges and hardware as the scope requires.

Final adjustment and cleanup

We check swing and alignment before wrapping up the project, then leave the work area ready for the next step in the room.

A COMPLETE INTERIOR DOOR SERVICE

We manage the entire project from measurement through final adjustment

Accurate measurements help ensure the door fits the opening properly. We check the doorway before ordering and help you choose a construction and style that works for the space. Once the materials arrive, we coordinate delivery and install the door for smooth operation and proper alignment.

THREE PRODUCT LEVELS

Choose the construction that fits the room and the project

Not every opening needs the same door. A rental or basement update may call for a straightforward molded option, while a bedroom renovation may benefit from solid-core construction. Custom wood brings a different level of material and detail to projects where the door itself plays a larger role in the design.

Value Series

A cost-effective choice for rentals and budget-focused renovations.

Select Series

A stronger everyday option for homeowners who want more privacy and a more substantial door.

Custom Wood Collection

A premium direction for distinctive homes and custom interior projects.

Match the door style to the rooms around it

The right interior door should fit the style of the home and the needs of the room. We help you compare options that make sense for the space, then confirm the exact design and availability before placing the order.

FROM MEASUREMENT THROUGH FINAL ADJUSTMENT

We manage the details that turn a door order into a finished installation

We start by measuring the opening and reviewing the details that affect the fit. From there, we define the product and installation scope for that doorway. The proposal makes those details clear before we order materials.

In-home or jobsite measurement

Older panel styles or damaged finishes may stand out after a remodel. Replacing the doors gives the rooms a more consistent look without changing the entire layout.

Product + style consultation

We talk through the construction level and finish direction that fits the room. We also keep the project budget in mind when comparing options.

Door, jamb + trim procurement

We order the approved door package and keep the product specifications tied to the measurements from the site visit.

Pickup + delivery

Our team coordinates the materials and delivers them to the home or jobsite, so you do not need to arrange a separate pickup.

Removal + disposal

When the approved scope includes replacement work, we remove the existing door components and handle disposal as outlined in the proposal.

Prehung-door installation

We install the new door and jamb as a single unit when the opening requires a more complete reset.

Slab replacement + fitting

When the existing jamb remains in good condition, we fit the replacement slab to the opening and prepare it for proper operation.

Hinge + hardware preparation

We mortise hinges and prepare the door for handles or locks when the approved scope calls for that work.

Jamb installation + adjustment

We set and adjust the jamb so the new door aligns with the opening and moves the way it should.

Casing + trim installation

We include casing or trim work when the doorway needs it, and the proposal includes that portion of the project.

Final alignment + operation testing

We operate each door and check the reveal, latch, and swing before we close out the installation.

Cleanup + workmanship warranty

We clean the work area after installation and explain the workmanship warranty that applies to the approved scope.

Match the door style to the rooms around it

The right interior door should fit the style of the home and the needs of the room. We help you compare options that make sense for the space, then confirm the exact design and availability before placing the order.

A CLEAR PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH

A clear six-step process keeps every door matched to the right opening

Interior-door projects run more smoothly when each decision follows the right sequence. We start by reviewing the rooms and existing openings, then move into product selection and ordering. That gives our installation team the details they need before the new doors arrive.

Step 1 - Consultation

We talk through the project and learn what you want to change. The conversation covers the look you prefer and the level of door construction that fits the space.

Step 2 - Professional measurement

Our team measures each opening and confirms the jamb condition. We also document the swing direction and hardware requirements that affect the order.

Step 3 - Product selection + proposal

We walk you through the options that fit your project and explain the differences that affect the final result. The proposal then lays out the product details and installation scope so you know exactly what you’re approving.

Step 4 - Ordering + coordination

We place the order and coordinate the materials around the approved specifications. Once the doors arrive, we plan delivery and installation with the project schedule in mind.

Step 5 - Professional installation

Our installers fit the doors and complete the preparation outlined in the proposal. We adjust the hardware and trim work when the approved scope calls for it.

Step 6 - Final walkthrough

We operate each door and check the alignment before closing out the project. The walkthrough gives you a chance to review the finished work with our team.

FOR HOMEOWNERS

Update one doorway or give the whole home a more consistent look

Some projects start with one damaged door. Others begin when a homeowner realizes the old doors no longer match the rest of a renovation. Clearview works with both. You might choose a solid-core bedroom door for better privacy or use wood to bring more character into the home. For a whole-home update, carrying the same panel style through each hallway gives the rooms a cleaner finished look.

A whole-home project also allows you to coordinate jambs and casing where the existing trim needs an update. Clearview will help you decide which openings deserve a full prehung replacement and where a fitted slab makes more sense.

FOR BUILDERS + REMODELERS

A dependable interior-door partner from measurement through punch-list

Door packages affect the schedule well before installation begins. We help builders and remodelers keep orders aligned with the plans and actual openings, then coordinate delivery and installation around the jobsite schedule.

Takeoffs + quoting

Send the door schedule or plans so we can build a project-specific quote around the requested package.

Product levels

Choose from value-oriented molded doors or move into solid-core and custom wood options as the project requires.

Delivery coordination

We coordinate material arrival with the project schedule and communicate timing before installation.

Professional installation

Our team installs the approved package and keeps the work aligned with the project scope.

Punch-list response

We return to the details that need adjustment so the door package doesn’t become a lingering closeout issue.

Single point of contact

We keep the same team involved from quoting through installation, so the project stays consistent from one stage to the next.

Choose a focused replacement or plan the doors as one coordinated project

We price each interior-door project around the products you choose and the condition of the existing openings. A single-door replacement may stay fairly simple, while a whole-home update usually takes more coordination to keep the style and installation consistent throughout the house.

Focused Door Replacement

Pricing: Custom project estimate

Best for one room or a small group of openings. Clearview measures the affected doors and builds the quote around the selected construction and installation approach.

Whole-Home Door Transformation

Pricing: Custom whole-home estimate

Best for homeowners who want a consistent door style throughout the home and need Clearview to coordinate the package as one project.

The opening determines whether a slab or a prehung replacement makes more sense

A new slab retains more of the existing doorway, while a prehung unit replaces the door and its jamb. Clearview checks the condition of the opening before recommending either route.

Know what the proposal covers before materials arrive

We make the project scope clear before work begins. Your proposal covers the door itself, along with any jamb, casing, or hardware work the opening needs. It also explains whether painting or staining needs to be coordinated separately.

Door + jamb work

The proposal states whether we are fitting a slab or installing a prehung unit and whether the jamb needs work.

Hardware + trim

We identify hinge preparation and handle or lock boring as needed. We also define any casing work.

Finish + warranty

We identify who will handle the final painting or staining and explain the workmanship warranty that applies to the installation.

Love my new windows. Clear view did a great job. The price was very reasonable, they delivered and installed the windows when they said they would. I had a change of mind on one window and they changed it for me without any hassle. They cleaned up after themselves. They are very efficient. Highly recommend them. CLEAR VIEW. Windows & Doors. Called Chris for a quote and it was very good far price. Did my due diligence call around for more quotes and they didn’t want to just replace the two windows on either side of my door because it be custom… so they wanted to replace everything for 3500+. Called Chris back and he jokingly said “l knew you would call back”. Gave me a good chuckle. He was very easy to work with and get ahold of with any questions I had. He came out and replaced both windows in very timely manner. they look amazing! My wife is extremely happy with them and that’s what matters. Thank you guys for being far on the price and getting it done so quickly. I will recommend them to anyone

We can not say enough about how absolutely thrilled we are for having the opportunity to work with Chris and Clearview Windows and Doors. We had to replace several custom windows that were large, heavy and awkward. They showed up with an incredible can do attitude, and their team work was outstanding. They were neat, clean and polite. They were truly enjoyable to work with. The only thing I will say is I wish there was an even better rating than five stars they certainly deserve it. We would recommend them to everyone.

Chris is amazing. Very thorough and professional. He did a great job. The house window that was replaced was on the third floor. I thought his pricing was very fair. I also have to give Chris kudos for strong communication skills. He is also a very nice person that I immediately felt very comfortable with. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Chris

Interior door questions

Hollow-core doors use a lightweight interior structure that helps keep prices lower. Solid-core doors feel heavier and usually provide better sound reduction. Many homeowners choose solid-core construction for bedrooms or offices where privacy matters more.

The condition of the existing doorway usually answers that question. A square jamb in good condition may support a slab replacement. If the jamb shows damage or alignment issues, a prehung unit may provide the installer with a better starting point.

We include jamb and casing work when the project requires it. The proposal outlines exactly what the installation covers, so you know what to expect before the materials arrive.

Solid-core doors make the biggest difference in rooms where privacy and noise matter. Their heavier construction helps reduce sound transfer and gives the door a more substantial feel when it opens and closes. Many homeowners prioritize bedrooms, bathrooms, and home offices when they don’t want to replace every door at once.

A solid-core door usually reduces more sound than a hollow-core door because its denser construction blocks more noise. The fit around the door also matters. Large gaps around the slab allow sound to travel through even when the door itself provides better sound control.

Builders use several common interior-door sizes, but existing openings don’t always match them perfectly. Older homes may also have openings that have shifted over time. We measure each doorway before ordering rather than relying on the size printed on the existing door.

Neither option works best for every doorway. A slab replacement lets you keep an existing jamb that still sits square and operates properly. A prehung unit replaces the door and jamb together, which often makes more sense when the existing frame has damage or alignment problems.

They don’t have to match, although repeating the same door style often gives the home a more consistent look. Some homeowners use a different style for a pantry, office, or other feature opening while keeping the main bedroom and hallway doors consistent. We help you look at the surrounding trim and architecture before choosing a direction.

Replacing several doors together often makes sense when you want a consistent style throughout the home. It also allows us to coordinate measurements and ordering across the project. If only one or two doors have damage or operation problems, replacing those openings separately may make more sense.
